Kiyotakigawa River

Kiyotakigawa River is well-known for Autumn leaves.

Ninna-ji Temple

This temple was built in 888. One of the famous retired Emperor, Uda was living in this temple.
And this temple was registered as a world heritage place.

Tadasu Forest

Tadasu Forest is called "Tadasu-no-mori" in Japanese. This Forest is in Shimo-gamo-jinjya Shrine.

Shimo-gamo-jinjya Shrine

This place has a beautiful forest even in Kyoto city. You can feel a calm atmosphere. And it heal your mind. Besides beautiful river, Kamogawa flows near here.

To-ji Temple

This temple was built in 796. It is located at almost the center of Kyoto city.This one is one of the world heritage place.
I really like this temple. 'cause it makes peaceful atmosphere.

Amida-ji Temple

It's just awesome! breathtaking view!

Kozan-ji Temple

This temple is the first place where people cultivated Japanese green tea, which was imported from China originally. There is still a plantation for green tea.

Mt. Atago

Mt. Atago is the highest mountain in Kyoto City.

Koke-dera Temple

This temple's garden is covered with more than a hundred sorts of moss. That's why people call this temple "Koke-dera"(moss temple).
You will feel a sense of beauty unique to Japan, one in which a mossed vista is beautiful.

Ryoan-ji Temple

This temple is well known as having a dry landscape garden. It is also popular amongst foreign tourists. The dry landscape garden expresses a big sea and stream. This temple is close to other famous place, so i recommend you to stop by to see beautiful places.

Fushimi-inari-tahisha Shirine

As you can see, there are many torii!! There must be more than a Thousand. If I also count small one, I think there might be more than 10 thousands .
And these thousands of torii gates make us mysterious.
people pray for business success at this Shrine. And these torii were given by those people.

Ikedaya

this is inside of "Ikedaya". Ikedaya is famous for "Ikedaya incident". In 1864,Shinsengumi(gouverment killer) attacked revolutionists( Tyousyuuhan)in this inn. At that time, many revolutionists was killed by them.

Holikawa River

this one is takend more than a hundred years ago.

Shinsenen

this place is very close to Nijyo Castle. A few minutes' walk will take you to here from Nijyo castle.

Byodo-in Temple

this temple is located in uji city ( next to kyoto city). this one was used for the design of the 10-yen coin.

Kinkakuji temple

this one is located at northwest in Kyoto city. this place is worth visiting.

i recomand visiting here especially at night.

Gion

Tohukuji Temple

I'd like to explain sbout "Tohukuji Temple". This Temple is located at southeast of kyoto city. this one is well-known for maple viewing. Besides there're many beautiful temples around here.

Suirokaku

Hi! I'd like to introduce about "Suirokaku". At first look at above picture. This bilding is called "Suirokaku". And this one is in "Nanzenji Temple(placed at northeast)". As you can see, this one is very beautiful, especially in fall.

Shirakawa River

hi! today I'd like to talk about "Shirakawa River". This river is one of the most beautiful place in kyoto city. if you visit to kyoto, you should come here.
This river is located at east of kyoto city(technically speaking, placed in Gion. if you can't still locate it, please search it with internet).
and most of the time you can see "Geishya" around here.
I especially recomand you to come here at night.

Kiyomizu temple

at this time, i'd like to explain about "Kiyomizu temple"

this temple is located at east of kyoto. and one of the most famous place in Japan.

because this one is very big, beautiful and has a lot of history(since 778). i think every single Japanese know this temple. and most of Japanese have ever visited this temple. anyway, this place is worth visiting. if you come Japan, you should come here.

Pontotyou

hi long time no see.
today i 'd like to introduce "Pontotyou".
Ponttyou is one of the most famous Hanamati in kyoto. do you know what Hanamati is? if you don't, check my other comments . i've already explained it. anyway , Pontotyou is very beautiful place, especially i recomand you to visit here at night. i' m sure that you're gonna love there. and sometime you can see "Maiko"(i'v already explained what Maiko is). if you have some question about these things, please leave a comment. don't hesitate to do that.
